Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Call Me Stanley checked off Royal Burst approaching the first turn. Rocks Got Talent checked off Lektra Nat on the first turn checking Call Me Stanley. Lektra Nat checked off Royal Burst approaching the home turn. Call Me Stanley raced wide entering the home straight.

Rocks Got Talent underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a cervico-thoratic injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Ginger Meggs - The frequency of racing was discussed with Trainer Mr J. Galea, Stewards noted his comments

All Inn Dungee checked off Firefly Star soon after the start. Motor Ace checked off Jodie's Boy on the first turn. Jodie's Boy shifted out and marred Ginger Meggs on the home turn. Jodie's Boy and Laughed A Lot collided in the home straight.

Jodie's Boy underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Ms P. Marek , the handler of Jodie's Boy regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Jodie's Boy was charged with marring. Ms Marek pleaded guilty to the charge, Jodie's Boy is suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Ginger Meggs underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Electric Zulu was slow to begin.

Huggle Bear and Karen's Delight collided soon after the start. All Inn Morgan checked off Tommy's No Angel soon after the start. Karen's Delight checked off Huggle Bear approaching the first turn. Electric Zulu brushed the running rail approaching the first turn. 

A post-race sample was taken from Mallee Swan - the winner of the event.

Formidable - Late scratching at 6.29pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to an elevated temperature and mild diarrhoea. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Redzin was slow to begin.

Twilight Flame and Shonky Sticker collided on the home turn. Twilight Flame, People Get Ready and Strike Out collided entering the home straight checking all three greyhounds. Redzin and People Get Ready collided entering the home straight. People Get Ready checked off Zanzibar Icon in the home straight checking Twilight Flame. Twilight Flame marred People Get Ready in the home straight.

Twilight Flame underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed

Stewards spoke to Mr S. Vantaarling, the handler of Twilight Flame regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Twilight Flame was charged with marring. Mr Vantaarling pleaded guilty to the charge, Twilight Flame is suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Strike Out underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a broken toe on the left foreleg. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Deadly Walk and Toolleen Town collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Foreman checked off Sarcasmic on the home turn.

Road Side Assist and Broadway Bullet collided soon after the start. Soda Nigel checked off Any Luck on the first turn.

Aston Stealth and Run Baba Run collided on the first turn checking Run Baba Run. All Inn Deeds checked off Ducky's Delight on the first turn. Run Baba Run and Kraken Doll collided on the home turn. Ducky's Delight checked off Major Minter in the home straight. Run Baba Run and Kraken Doll collided in the home straight.

Run Baba Run underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abraded stopper on the right foreleg. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Ducky's Delight underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right deltoid muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
