Steward's Report
Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Lure Driver Mr. C. Chilcott did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.
The start time of this event was amended from 7:57pm to 8:00pm due to the abandonment of Richmond greyhounds.
Lonnie Loot, Black Rocks and My Father's Son collided approaching the first turn. Lonnie Loot and Black Rocks collided on the first turn and approaching the second turn checking Black Rocks. Lonnie Loot and Black Rocks collided in the home straight. My Father's Son marred Hatters Lane in the home straight severley checking Hatters Lane.
My Father's Son underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-vetted following race 8. My Father's Son was found to have injuries to the left back muscle, right triangle and right sesamoid. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Chilcott, the trainer of My Father's Son regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) My Father's Son was charged with marring. Mr. Chilcott pleaded not guilty to the charge, My Father's Son was found guilty and is suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
