Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Gold Digger, Sugar Spice, Son Of Peter and Red Mahogany were slow to begin. Inky's Fireball and Fake Shot collided approaching the first turn. Blueberry Hill and Weblec Pearl collided soon after the start. Macey's Star and Fab Nine collided approaching the first turn. Lainey Basil and Weblec Pearl collided on the first turn. Fab Nine and Macey's Start collided approaching the home turn checking Macey's Star. Blueberry Hill galloped on the heels of Lainey Basil approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Fab Nine, Lainey Basil and Blueberry Hill collided on the home turn. Lainey Basil and Blueberry Hill collided entering the home straight.

Cullquin Marcel and McIvor Ernie were slow to begin. Think Big Harry was very slow to begin (3L). Dustification, Barellen Chubby and Simmons collided on the second turn checking Barellen Chubby. Nicko In Paris and Think Big Harry collided entering the home straight checking Nicko In Paris. McIvor Ernie raced wide in the home straight.

Deed's Delight underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right quadriceps injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Jones, the trainer of Deed's Delight regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Deed's Delight was charged with marring. Mr. Jones pleaded guilty to the charge, Deed's Delight is suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards noted that the reserve number 9 was not in place of number 5 on the front of the boxes for this event.

My Father's Son underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-vetted following race 8. My Father's Son was found to have injuries to the left back muscle, right triangle and right sesamoid. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Chilcott, the trainer of My Father's Son regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) My Father's Son was charged with marring. Mr. Chilcott pleaded not guilty to the charge, My Father's Son was found guilty and is suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Chief's Magic, Jim Zarr Dashian and Zipping Walter collided on the first turn. Bartholomew Bale, Mahogany Jet and Chief's Magic collided entering the back straight checking Mahogany Jet and Bartholomew Bale. Jim Zarr Dashian and Lethal Image collided approaching the second turn. Jim Zarr Dashian and Chief's Magic collided on the second turn.
