A pre race sample was taken from Honest Keithy.
Gettysburg and Wild Slammer collided soon after the start. Gettysburg, Cee Bay and Cherokee Fawn collided approaching the first turn checking Cee Bay, causing Cherokee Fawn to fall. According checked off Solar Tiny approaching the first turn. Solar Tiny raced wide on the home turn and collided with According resulting in both greyhounds being checked. Gettysburg checked off Wild Slammer entering the home straight.
Cherokee Fawn was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Wild Slammer was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound was found to have a papilloma, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Solar Tiny was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left monkey muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr V. Millington, Trainer of Solar Tiny and issued a warning regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn.
