Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

View Emma collided approaching the first turn checking Mt. View Emma.  Forty Free Beans and Blue Bonnet collided approaching the first turn checking Blue Bonnet.  Inga April and Tiara Bay collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Tinker Scott, Bel Air Haze and Bush Panther collided approaching the home turn checking Bel Air Haze and Bush Panther.  Bush Panther checked off Mt. Wacky Wednesday and Cedar Rosy were slow to begin.  Kingy Lights and Raider Bay collided soon after the start.  Yellow And Black and Galaxy Horse collided soon after the start.  Wacky Wednesday checked off Galaxy Horse on the first turn checking Manila Shine.  Five Bucks Down, Kingy Lights and Raider Bay collided on the first turn checking Kingy Lights and Raider Bay.  Wacky Wednesday and Manila Shine collided approaching the home turn.  Wacky Wednesday and Galaxy Horse collided in the home straight.

Wacky Wednesday was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to the left foreleg, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Yassie Belle was vetted  prior to the running of this event by the Club's Veterinary Surgeon and was passed fit to compete.

Squirming and Glorious One were quick to beglin  Yassie Belle was slow to begin.  Carter and Big Leigh collided soon after the start.  Angelique Bay and Amelie Otis collided on the first turn checking Amelie Otis, Yassie Belle and Rapid Bay.  Big Leigh and Glorious One collided approaching the home turn.  Amelie Otis eased and turned its head outwards in the home straight and collided with Glorious One.

Amelie Otis was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to back left toe and an injury to the left pencil muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Trainer, Mrs K. Bunworth, regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Amelie Otis was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury.)  Mrs Bunworth pleaded guilty to the charge, Amelie Otis must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

View Rocks collided approaching the first turn.  Silver Charro checked off Come On Serenity on the first turn.  Silver Charro and Winslow Lodge collided approaching the home turn.  Predictions, Winslow Lodge and Silver Charro collided on the home turn checking Silver Charro.  Predictions and Silver Charro collided several times in the home straight.

Zoe's Intention went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.  Peter Thief and Narcelle collided soon after the start.  Silver Destroyer, Glascoe Sally and Miss Winks collided approaching the first turn checking Glascoe Sally.   Glascoe Sally and Peter Thief collided on the first turn.  Glascoe Sally checked off Black Katniss in the home straight.  Silver Destroyer and Miss Winks collided in the home straight.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr Lewis Green for his failure to fulfil his catching engagement for the greyhound, Jack's Fantasy.(GAR 86).

Maybe Gracie was quick to begin.  Hostile Raven was slow to begin.  Burst Of Yap and Always Innocent collided soon after the start.  Maybe Gracie, Okay Curtly and Hostile Raven collided on the first turn checking Okay Curtly, severely checking Hostile Raven.  Burst Of Yap, Always Innocent and I'm A Burner collided on the first turn checking Always Innocent and Alsace.  Alsace galloped on the heels of Burst Of Yap approaching the home turn checking Burst Of Yap and Hostile Raven.  Okay Curtly and I'm A Burner collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.

Master Faith, Kurtlee Bale and Jabba Bolt collided soon after the start.  Red Potion checked off Master Faith approaching the first turn.  Fernando's Flare and Kurtlee Bale collided on the home turn.  Fernando's Flare and Kiwi Swagger collided in the home straight.  Master Faith and Red Potion collided in the home straight.  Kiwi Swagger, Fernando's Flare, Master Faith and Red Potion collided approaching the winning post checking Fernando's Flare and  Master Faith.

Gettysburg and Wild Slammer collided soon after the start.  Gettysburg, Cee Bay and Cherokee Fawn collided approaching the first turn checking Cee Bay, causing Cherokee Fawn to fall.  According checked off Solar Tiny approaching the first turn.  Solar Tiny raced wide on the home turn and collided with According resulting in both greyhounds being checked.  Gettysburg checked off Wild Slammer entering the home straight.

Cherokee Fawn was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Wild Slammer was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound was found to have a papilloma, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Solar Tiny was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left monkey muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr V. Millington, Trainer of Solar Tiny and issued a warning regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn.

Blue Magic Opal-- The frequency of racing was discussed with trainer, Mr J.Xerri. His comments were noted.

Trainer, Mr L.Green advised that So Bright was scratched in accordance with the rules due to hamstring soreness.

Saint Ellie was slow to begin.  Simmo Gogolac, Cookie Deeds, Blue Magic Opal, Lucky Yap and Poppo's Legacy collided approaching the first turn checking Blue Magic Opal and Poppo's Legacy, severely checking Lucky Yap which fell.  Lucky Yap and Simmo Gogolac collided approaching the home turn.  Cookie Deeds, Simmo Goglac and Blue Magic Opal collided in the home straight.  Simmo Gogolac checked off Blue Magic Opal approaching the winning post.

Lucky Yap was vetted-- Right back muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Josie's Call - Late scratching at 12.46pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr K.Ward was fined $100.

Annie My Mate was slow to begin.  Zipping Solo and Pull Shot collided approaching the first turn checking Pull Shot.  Zipping Solo and Lots Of Nitro collided on the first turn.  Lovely Sienna raced wide on the home turn.  Zipping Solo checked off Terka Wye entering the home straight and collided with Lots Of Nitro checking Annie My Mate and Lots Of Nitro and  severely checking Zipping Solo.

Super Rage was slow to begin.  Select Bully checked off Maximum Jan soon after the start.  Burner Black and Maximum Jan collided approaching the first turn checking Cee Sprite.  Select Bully and Super Rage collided on the first turn checking Super Rage.  Burner Black and Maximum Jan collided several times approaching the home turn.  Burner Black, Spritely Star, Select Bully and Super Rage collided approaching the winning post.
