Steward's Report
Bearing Gold was quick to begin. Bidgee Boy was slow to begin. Strict Liability, Willow Ash and Aston Frigate collided approaching the first turn checking Willow Ash, Aston Frigate and Lakeview Cruiser. Strict Liability and Zachary collided on the first turn causing Strict Liability to contact the running rail and lose ground.
Strict Liability underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind toe. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Zachary - the winner of the event.
