Lakeview Cash - New declared weight of 32.9kgs, last raced at 31.5kgs.

Into The Kitchen and Let's Trot were slow to begin.  Rona's Rocket crossed in on the first turn checking Scary Too.  Lakeview Cash and Into The Kitchen collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Lakeview Cash turned its head inwards in the home straight and collided with Fat Cracker.

Lakeview Cash underwent a post-race veterinary examination -  no apparent injury was reported.  

Stewards spoke to Mr. Harley Whelan, the representative of Lakeview Cash regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Lakeview Cash was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. Whelan pleaded guilty to the charge, Lakeview Cash was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sale and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) (a) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Dr. Francisco - late scratching at 15:52 due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer Mr. Marcus McMahon was fined $100.

Double On Ice was quick to begin.  Sir Chappy and Rapid Voyage were slow to begin.  She's The One and Sir Chappy collided soon after the start checking She's The One.  Lakeview Lola crossed in on the first turn severely checking Sir Chappy causing Sir Chappy to check Rapid Voyage and She's The One.  Hellacious and Lakeview Lola collided approaching the winning post.

My Mate Damien and Oseye Bale were quick to begin.  Sir Champ and Into The Shed were slow to begin.  Vesna Spolly and Into The Shed collided soon after the start checking Vesna Spolly.  Oscar Rose and Shot Fossil collided approaching the first turn.  My Mate Damien and Oscar Rose collided approaching the first turn checking Oscar Rose.  Oscar Rose, Sir Champ and Shot Fossil collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds.  Sir Champ checked off Vesna Spolly approaching the home turn.

Airly Pablo and Massimo were slow to begin.  Go Emmy Go and Disorientated collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds causing Go Emmy Go to lose considerable ground.

Thylacine was quick to begin.  Jayville Menace and Chrome Cadillac collided on the first turn checking Chrome Cadillac.  Montaro crossed in on the first turn checking Long Black Lass and Razor Roy.  Long Black Lass checked off Chrome Cadillac on the second turn.  Geena Bale and Patience Pays collided several times from the second turn to approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Geena Bale and Long Black Lass collided approaching the winning post.

Bearing Gold was quick to begin.  Bidgee Boy was slow to begin.  Strict Liability, Willow Ash and Aston Frigate collided approaching the first turn checking Willow Ash, Aston Frigate and Lakeview Cruiser.  Strict Liability and Zachary collided on the first turn causing Strict Liability to contact the running rail and lose ground.

Strict Liability underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind toe.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Dr. Mumma was quick to begin.  Notoriety, Lara's Love and Aston Rocket collided approaching the first turn checking Lara's Love.  Harrigan raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.  Lara's Love raced wide in the home straight.

Rose's Honey and Star Burner were slow to begin.  Showtime Boomer and Nicholas Rose collided on the first turn checking Showtime Boomer causing Showtime Boomer to check Ha Ha Magoo.  Aston Sunset and Just Augusta collided on the second turn checking both greyhounds causing Aston Sunset to lose ground.  Showtime Boomer checked off Ha Ha Magoo on the home turn.
