Steward's Report
Addie Attitude was slow to begin. Magnetic Steff and Aston Rebel collided soon after the start. Flirty Talks visibly eased and turned its head out on the first turn and collided with Baggy’s Gold. Flirty Talks and Baggy’s Gold collided on the home turn.
Flirty Talks underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a torn right dew claw and spike wounds on the right hock and left hind toe. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr. G. Campbell regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Flirty Talks was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Campbell pleaded guilty to the charge, Flirty Talks was found guilty and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
