Aston Heart was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Redefine and Miers collided soon after the start checking Miers.  Wilsonville and Invictus Tess collided soon after the start checking Invictus Tess. Wilsonville galloped on Good Boy Colombo on the first turn and again approaching the home turn. Good Boy Colombo, Wilsonville and Invictus Tess collided on the home turn checking all three greyhounds. Good Boy Colombo and Wilsonville raced wide in the home straight.

Lightnin' Slim - New declared weight of 33.5 kg, last raced at 32.3 kg.

Saint Phoenix was quick to begin.  Bomber’s Smokey, Saint Phoenix, Milly’s Last and Ant Man collided on the first turn.  Mister Frank and Simon Says collided approaching the home turn.

Addie Attitude was slow to begin.  Magnetic Steff and Aston Rebel collided soon after the start.  Flirty Talks visibly eased and turned its head out on the first turn and collided with Baggy’s Gold.  Flirty Talks and Baggy’s Gold collided on the home turn.

Flirty Talks underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a torn right dew claw and spike wounds on the right hock and left hind toe.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr. G. Campbell regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Flirty Talks was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Campbell pleaded guilty to the charge, Flirty Talks was found guilty and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was taken from Rip Off Roslyn.

Rip Off Roslyn was slow to begin.  Rip Off Roslyn stumbled soon after the start.  Rip Off Roslyn and Rocks Got Talent collided on the first turn.

Rocks Got Talent underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have the thumps, bruising over the right wrist and right stopper and an abrasion on a left hind toe.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Sleek Mistress and Mayhem Moment were slow to begin.  Sleek Mistress and Ultimate Mayhem collided approaching the first turn.  Jezza Bence and Upton Street collided on the first turn checking Ultimate Mayhem and severely checking Upton Street.  Sleek Mistress and Mayhem Moment collided on the home turn.  Mayhem Moment and Coalville Chief collided in the home straight.

A sample was taken from Aston Marlon upon arrival at the course.

Recall and Airly Pablo collided soon after the start checking Airly Pablo.  Southern Meteor and Recall collided on the first turn.  Aston Marlon and Bull’s Roar collided on the home turn.  Shared Colour and Airly Pablo collided approaching the winning post.

Recall underwent a post race veterinary examination after contacting the running rail entering the catching pen and was found to have spike wounds on the left hock and right hind toes.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Nowhere Nathe.

Manila Shine was slow to begin.  Manila Shine and Amazing Roy collided soon after the start. Nowhere Nathe and Stuart Lee Rose collided on the first turn checking Nowhere Nathe, Manila Shine and Amazing Roy.  Alecia and Stuart Lee Rose collided approaching the home turn checking Alecia.  Mayhem Thrill and Rumour File collided on the home turn.

Flywheel Bella was quick to begin.  Superior Wallis was slow to begin.  Superior Wallis and No Talking collided approaching the home turn checking Superior Wallis.  Busy Time and Flywheel Bella collided in the home straight.

Patricia Maureen was quick to begin.  Moody Girl brushed the running rail on the first turn and lost ground.  Throw Caution and Callum Ari collided approaching the winning post.

Cyber Crime and Rag Time Griff were slow to begin.  Red Nangana and Our Blue Spolly collided soon after the start.  End Game and Our Blue Spolly collided on the first turn checking End Game, Red Nangana and Our Blue Spolly.  Aston Lights and Rag Time Griff collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  End Game and Aston Lights collided approaching the home turn.
