Crackerjack Noah and Abby's Comet were quick to begin.
Crackerjack Noah and Scandalise collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn, checking Crackerjack Noah. Scandalise raced wide on the home turn. Crackerjack Noah and Electric Zulu collided in the home straight, checking Crackerjack Noah.
Crackerjack Noah underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg penchil/whip injury. A seven day stand down period was imposed.
It was noted that the muzzle of Electric Zulu became partially dislodged during the running of the event.
