Aragog – Late scratching at 2.11pm when Mrs Lisa Cockerell reported the greyhound to have a webbing injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.
A sample was taken from Harlequin Rose upon arrival at the course.
A pre-race sample was taken from Denise's Vision.
Harlequin Rose and Pop Rock collided soon after the start. Zipping Bates and Matilda Hook collided soon after the start. Artic Assassin checked off Matilda Hook on the first turn causing Artic Assassin and Pop Rock to collide. Artic Assassin and Harlequin Rose collided approaching the second turn checking Artic Assassin. Harlequin Rose and Pop Rock collided entering the back straight. Artic Assassin checked off Pop Rock in the back straight. Zipping Bates and Pop Rock collided entering the home straight. Magnis Bale raced wide entering the home straight checking Denise's Vision. Magnis Bale and Denise's Vision collided approaching the winning post.
