Steward's Report
Pat May Joy was slow to begin.
Parasite and Diva Dot collided entering the home straight. Killer Miss and Parasite collided in the home straight. Killer Miss visibly eased & turned her head outwards approaching the winning post.
Killer Miss underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the right hind leg toe, No stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to handler, Mr P. Bartlett regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Killer Miss was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Bartlett pleaded guilty to the charge, Killer Miss was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race sample was taken from Electric Zulu - the winner of the event.
