All staff and participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of handling, boxing, starting and catching greyhounds.

Amber Mahogany was slow to begin.

Roxy Usuki and Play A Tune collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Temptation Craze and Phaenon Bale collided on the first turn checking Phaenon Bale and Play A Tune. Legend Jet, Roxy Usuki and Temptation Craze collided on the first turn checking Roxy Usuki and Temptation Craze. Temptation Craze and Play A Tune collided on the home turn and again in the home straight checking both greyhounds. Roxy Usuki and Legend Jet collided in the home straight checking Legend Jet. Amber Mahogany visibly eased and turned its head inwards in the home straight. Temptation Craze checked off Play A Tune in the home straight. Play A Tune and Amber Mahogany collided approaching the winning post. 

Amber Mahogany underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury. Mr A. King declined the option to have the greyhound re-vetted.

Stewards spoke to Mr A. King, the trainer of Amber Mahogany regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Amber Mahogany was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr King pleaded guilty to the charge, Amber Mahogany was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Parasite and Diva Dot collided entering the home straight. Killer Miss and Parasite collided in the home straight. Killer Miss visibly eased & turned her head outwards approaching the winning post.

Killer Miss underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the right hind leg toe, No stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to handler, Mr P. Bartlett regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Killer Miss was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Bartlett pleaded guilty to the charge, Killer Miss was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Henryk Bale was quick to begin.

Henryk Bale, Frainy's Well and Ruby Arizona collided soon after the start checking Frainy's Well. Ruby Arizona checked off Henryk Bale on the first turn. Frainy's Well checked off Henryk Bale approaching the home turn. Pyrenees Pegasus checked off Chloe Exotic approaching the winning post.

Pandora's Hope – Late scratching at 2.37 pm due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, Mr. N. Mason was fined $100.

Cloak And Dagger and Victory Chico collided soon after the start. Isotope crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Victory Chico and Cloak And Dagger.

Super Rage and Titanium Lad collided soon after the start. Zambora Club checked off Table Top on the first turn. Table Top and Super Rage collided on the first turn checking Table Top. Titanium Lad marred Diamond White approaching the winning post.

Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Titanium Lad was charged with marring.  Mr Bartlett pleaded guilty to the charge, Titanium Lad was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
