All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Gold Azalea – Late scratching at 10.05 am on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a front left toe injury.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Due to persistent fog affecting the visibility of the track, the time of this race was changed from 10:57am to 11:12am. All races were amended to the following times: race 2: 11:27am, race 3: 11:47am, race 4: 12:04pm, race 5: 12:19pm, race 6 12:44pm, race 7: 1:05pm, race 8: 1:30pm, race 9: 1:47pm, race 10: 2:09pm, race 11: 2:26pm and race 12: 2:43pm.  

Bowie was slow to begin.

Farmer's Arms and Spitfire Striker collided soon after the start.  Farmer's Arms, Bowie and Winlock Buggy collided at the 250m mark.  Bowie and Spitfire Striker collided at the 100m mark.  Winlock Buggy and Hala Diego collided several times from the 100m mark to approaching the winning post.  

Stewards spoke to Mr Geoff Mitchell regarding the racing manners of Spitfire Striker at the 100m mark.  After hearing evidence from Mr Mitchell, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at the 100m mark.

Wiggle It Bart was slow to begin.

Maverick Blaze checked off Meg Rose soon after the start severely checking Wiggle It Bart and Maverick Blaze.  Thursday Thunder checked off Our Frankie at the 300m mark.  Thursday Thunder, Bruree Man and Blackzin Prince collided at the 250m mark checking Blackzin Prince.  Blackzin Prince checked off Meg Rose at the 150m mark.

Man Absconded was slow to begin.

Jokey checked off Inuka soon after the start.  Inuka, Jokey and Victoria's Kara collided soon after the start.  Sweet Chanelle and Spring Bjorn collided soon after the start.  Busy Bella checked off Sweet Chanelle at the 200m mark checking Spring Bjorn and Jokey.  Sweet Chanelle, Spring Bjorn and Jokey collided at the 150m mark.  Spring Bjorn and Inuka collided approaching the 50m mark.  

Victoria's Kara underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.  

Riccarton Weaver was slow to begin.

Zipping Malibu and Without Fear collided soon after the start.  Mcivor Stretch crossed out approaching the 200m and collided with Blackpool Alfie, checking Blackpool Alfie.  Zipping Malibu checked off Riccarton Weaver at the 50m mark; causing Zipping Malibu to cross to the outside.

Benchester and Sole Elusion were slow begin.

Benchester and Sole Elusion collided at the 250m mark.  Patricia Maureen checked off Aubameyang at the 200m mark.  Sole Elusion and Monaleen Flo collided approaching the 150m mark.

Real Reward and Zipping Valerie collided soon after the start.  Mania and Unreasonable raced tight colliding continuously from soon after the start to the 200m mark checking Unreasonable and Zipping Valerie.  Real Reward, Unreasonable and Mania collided at the 150m mark.  Unreasonable checked off Golden Ratio approaching the 100m mark.

Post-race samples were taken from Jazz Opera (1st) and Gunai Rebel (2nd).

Loz's Bling and Rilynn Bale were slow to begin.

Rilynn Bale crossed to the outside soon after the start.  Joking Bear checked off Pirate Pete approaching the 250m mark.  Aston Marlon checked off Pirate Pete approaching the 200m mark.

Parkour stumbled at box rise and was slow to begin.

Handsome Jack, Zachary and Rack City collided soon after the start.  Handsome Jack and Zachary collided soon after the start.  Blackpool Flash and Paddy's Marvel collided at the 300m mark.  Handsome Jack, Zachary and Rack City collided approaching the 275m mark checking Zachary.

Parkour underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the nose.  No stand down period was imposed.

Post-race samples were taken from Blackpool Flash (1st) and Paddy's Marvel (2nd).

Zipping Quokka was slow to begin.

Potente Rocks checked off Ms. Lucky Leaves soon after the start.  Fly To Victory checked off Potente Rocks at the 250m mark.  Blue Zenia and Ms. Lucky Leaves collided several times from the 200m mark to approaching the 150m mark.  Blue Zenia shifted to the outside at the 150m mark to collided with Ms. Lucky Leaves.  Blue Zena, Ms. Lucky Leaves and Potente Rocks collided at the 50m mark.

Blue Zenia underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right quadricep injury.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Peter Akathiotis regarding the racing manners of Blue Zenia at the 150m mark.  After hearing evidence from Mr Akathiotis, viewing all the available race footage, in particular the head-on vision, and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at the 150m mark.  

Zipping Higgins was quick to begin.  Little Nellie was slow to begin.

Claydon and Ancho Poblano collided soon after the start.  Unsolved Mystery crossed in approaching the 150m mark.  Leyenda faltered at the 150m mark losing ground as a result.

Leyenda underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

I'm The Greatest and Mcivor Bluey were slow to begin.

Lady Baba checked off Mallee Swan soon after the start.  Ziems Park Girl and Fab Rocket collided several times from soon after the start to approaching the 150m mark.  Kody Talks and I'm The Greatest collided several times from the 200m mark to 150m mark.  Ziems Park Girl, Fab Rocket and Mallee Swan collided at the 150m mark.  Kody Talks, Ziems Park Girl and Fab Rocket collided approaching the 100m mark.  Mallee Swan checked off Leeky Lee approaching the 50m mark.

Melanistic was slow to begin.

Freckles Brown and Busy Time collided soon after the start.  Melanistic crossed to the outside soon after the start.  Dundee Jester and Freckles Brown collided approaching the 300m mark.  Mumma's Bear checked off Busy Time approaching the 200m mark.  Dundee Jester and Freckles Brown collided approaching the 150m mark severely checking Dundee Jester.  Busy Time and Low Planes collided approaching the winning post.  Melanistic checked off Carrie approaching the winning post.

Dundee Jester underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right pencil muscle injury.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
