Ivy Wren was quick to begin.
Tribal, Aston Marla and Dundee Jester collided approaching the first turn checking Tribal and Dundee Jester and severely checking Aston Marla. Tribal and Dundee Jester collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Invictus Ethan checked off Trendy Universe on the first turn. Ivy Wren and Shy But Savage collided approaching the home turn. Tribal raced wide in the home straight.
Aston Marla underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg split webbing. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
