All persons attending the venue today carried face-masks, observed social distance requirements and maintained room density quotients for the race meeting.
Stewards accepted the explanation of trainer, Mr Jordan Cooper after Crackerjack Joel was a late scratching at 8:42 am due to illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.
There was no head-on vision available for this race.
Lektra Moon stumbled at box rise; checking Romilda Vane as a result. Mepunga Hayles and Lektra Terrace collided on the first turn, checking Mepunga Hayles. Mepunga Hayles and Romilda Vane collided several times in the home straight; checking both greyhounds.
