Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Go Flo.
Take A Daffodil was slow to begin.
Miss Molly May went up with the lids and lost ground. Lonely Jenny checked off Stella's Memory approaching the first turn. Nawala Banjo and Miss Molly May collided approaching the first turn checking Nawala Banjo. Venomous Yaala and Lonely Jenny collided on the first turn. Miss Molly May checked off Go Flo approaching the home turn. Miss Molly May and Take A Daffodil collided in the home straight. Nawala Banjo raced wide in the home straight. Stella's Memory turned its head outwards in the home straight.
Stella's Memory underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr. Thomas Boehmke regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Stella's Memory was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Boehmke pleaded not guilty to the charge, Stella's Memory was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat only and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
