Take A Daffodil was slow to begin.

Miss Molly May went up with the lids and lost ground.  Lonely Jenny checked off Stella's Memory approaching the first turn.  Nawala Banjo and Miss Molly May collided approaching the first turn checking Nawala Banjo.  Venomous Yaala and Lonely Jenny collided on the first turn.  Miss Molly May checked off Go Flo approaching the home turn.  Miss Molly May and Take A Daffodil collided in the home straight.  Nawala Banjo raced wide in the home straight. Stella's Memory turned its head outwards in the home straight.

Stella's Memory underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr. Thomas Boehmke regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Stella's Memory was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr Boehmke pleaded not guilty to the charge, Stella's Memory was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat only and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Pranjip Comet and My Mascara collided soon after the start checking Pranjip Comet.  Dodge Coupe checked off Ringcraft approaching the first turn.  Dodge Coupe checked off My Mascara approaching the home turn.

Uniquely Mine was quick to begin.  Pyrenees Steele was slow to begin.

Diva Dot and Line Trike collided on the first turn checking Diva Dot.  Explosive Yaala and Rockstar Harley collided entering the home straight.

Settled - New declared weight of 33.9kgs, last raced at 32.8kgs.

Clyde Jakit and Settled collided approaching the first turn.  Seabrook Stack and Close Encounter collided approaching the first turn.  Close Encounter and Settled collided entering the home straight.  Blue Yaala and Clyde Jakit collided in the home straight.

Union Man was slow to begin.

Silver Harp and High Beam collided on the first turn checking Silver Harp; causing Silver Harp to collide with Union Man. Inter Vince and Inga Assalt collided in the home straight.  Inter Vince and Charm Offensive collided in the home straight. Union Man turned its head outwards in the home straight.  Union Man and Charm Offensive collided in the home straight.  Inter Vince and Charm Offensive collided approaching the winning post.  

Union Man underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr John Higgins regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Union Man was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr Higgins pleaded not guilty to the charge, Union Man was found guilty and suspended for 90 days at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to representative Mr Tony Interligi regarding the racing manners of Inter Vince approaching the home turn.  After hearing evidence from Mr Interligi, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.

Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr Abraham Formosa regarding the racing manners of Charm Offensive in the home straight.  After hearing evidence from Mr Formosa, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.

Blue Raspberry and Riverdale Goldie collided on the first turn.  Blue Raspberry and Warrior Armo collided approaching the home turn checking Warrior Armo.  Blue Raspberry and Warrior Armo collided in the home straight.  

The all clear to this event was delayed to enable Stewards to review vision of the start of the race. After doing so it was established that King Brown had its paw on the front of the boxes when the lids opened, resulting in that greyhound being lifted up with the lids and beginning awkwardly. As Stewards were satisified that King Brown's own actions affected its start to the race the all clear was declared.   

King Brown went up with lids and lost considerable ground.

Wishly Bale and Yeran collided approaching the first turn.  Another Avatar faltered on the first turn and subsequently tailed off.  Riverdale Mitch turned its head inwards in the home straight.

Another Avatar underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right triangle muscle injury.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

King Brown underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Riverdale Mitch underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right monkey muscle and the right quadriceps, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Ian Green regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Riverdale Mitch was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Green pleaded guilty to the charge, Riverdale Mitch was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Send It Socks - Turned in the boxes and took no competitive part in the event.  Placed on a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 52(1) and pursuant to GAR 72.

Koh Lipe and Pyrenees Spirit collided approaching the first turn checking Koh Lope. Inter Santina faltered approaching the home turn and lost ground.

Inter Santina underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right back muscle and left wrist.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
