Aston Alpha was slow to begin.  Zivon Bale and Usman Bale collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Zivon Bale, Usman Bale and Christmas Magic collided on the first turn checking Zivon Bale, Usman Bale, Christmas Magic and Aston Alpha.  Drako Bale checked off Ozark Bale on the first turn.  Mepunga Allie and Mink Lake collided approaching the second turn.  Zivon Bale, Aston Alpha and Usman Bale collided approaching the second turn, severely checking all three greyhounds;  Aston Alpha faltered and tailed off as a result.  Zivon Bale and Usman Bale collided on the second turn.

Aston Alpha was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right wrist and right shoulder, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Roxy Vodka was quick to begin.  Tybalt Bale, Peaky Pub and Nikoli Bale collided soon after the start.  Koko Kardash and Affair Bit collided on the first turn checking Koko Kardash, Peaky Pub and Nikoli Bale.  Tybalt Bale checked off Kinson Bale on the first turn and collided with Malicious Yaala.  Tybalt Bale clipped the heels of Affair Bit entering the back straight.  Affair Bit and Nikoli Bale collided on the third turn checking Nikoli Bale.  Nikoli Bale checked off Affair Bit on the home turn.  Koko Kardash, Peaky Pub and Tybalt Bale collided on the home turn checking all three greyhounds.  Koko Kardash and Peaky Pub collided in the home straight.

Mr. Football was quick to begin.  Vayda Bale was quick to begin and crossed to the rail soon after the start and collided with Fairytale Nacho, Madame Josie and Mr. Football.  Mr. Football checked off Vayda Bale approaching the first turn.  Fairytale Nacho and Royal Deed collided on the first turn checking Royal Deed.  Aston Oriental and Orlando collided on the first turn and again approaching the second turn checking Orlando.  Fairytale Nacho checked off Royal Deed on the third turn.

My Father's Son was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a dislocated toe on the left fore, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Wild Card was slow to begin.  Carry On Star, Zipping Rambo and Bees And Honey collided soon after the start checking Zipping Rambo.  Fortuna Bale and Christo Bale collided on the first turn checking Christo Bale.  Zipping Rambo and Bees And Honey collided on the first turn.  Fortuna Bale and Gypsy Bun collided on the first turn.  Zipping Rambo checked off Bees And Honey approaching the second turn.  Wild Card, Gypsy Bun and Fortuna Bale collided approaching the winning post.
