Steward's Report
All persons attending the venue today carried face masks, observed social distance requirements and maintained room density quotients for the race meeting.
A sample was taken from Zivon Bale upon arrival at the course.
Aston Alpha was slow to begin. Zivon Bale and Usman Bale collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Zivon Bale, Usman Bale and Christmas Magic collided on the first turn checking Zivon Bale, Usman Bale, Christmas Magic and Aston Alpha. Drako Bale checked off Ozark Bale on the first turn. Mepunga Allie and Mink Lake collided approaching the second turn. Zivon Bale, Aston Alpha and Usman Bale collided approaching the second turn, severely checking all three greyhounds; Aston Alpha faltered and tailed off as a result. Zivon Bale and Usman Bale collided on the second turn.
Aston Alpha was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right wrist and right shoulder, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Ozark Bale, the winner of the event.
