Steward's Report

Madalia Pixie - Late scratching at 11:37am when Ms K. Fogarty reported the greyhound to have injuries to the right front and left hind legs (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Montaro was quick to begin.

Montaro and Good Boy Colombo collided on the first turn and again entering the home straight, and several times in the home straight to approaching the winning post. Breakaway Benji raced wide in the home straight.

Mr L. Forte, the trainer of Good Boy Colombo was issued a warning in that he made contact with the rear of the boxes after boxing the greyhound pursuant to GAR 51(10)(c).
