Steward's Report
Pursuant to GAR 104(6) lure driver, Mr. S. Courts did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.
Locked And Ready was quick to begin. Broken Boots and Pyrophoric collided approaching the first turn. Pyrophoric galloped on Dr, Collette on the first turn causing Pyrophoric to lose ground. Pyrophoric and Broken Boots collided approaching the home turn severely checking Pyrophoric. Broken Boots raced wide in the home straight.
Pyrophoric underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left thigh. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
A post race sample was taken from Wigram Road - winner of the event.
There was no head on vision in the back straight for this event.
