Callum’s Capers and Humanity were slow to begin.  Turbulence and Zheng collided approaching the first turn.  Callum’s Capers crossed out on the home turn and collided with Zheng.  Humanity was checked off Aston Heart entering the home straight.  Callum’s Capers raced wide in the home straight.

It was noted that the muzzle of Turbulence became dislodged during the running of the event.

Little Kevin and Yeah Send It were slow to begin.  Shallot and Soldier collided on the first turn. Blazin’ Cool, Thylacine, Yeah Send It and Shallot collided approaching the home turn causing Thylacine to fall.  Blazin’’ Cool crossed out on the home turn and raced wide in the home straight.

Thylacine underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have neck soreness.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Ms. K. Thorburn regarding the racing manners of Shallot approaching the winning post.  After hearing evidence from Ms. Thorburn, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.

Express Load was quick to begin.  Hearts Colliding was slow to begin.  Villanova was checked off Hot Sauce Sally approaching the first turn checking Villanova. Villanova galloped on Hearts Colliding approaching the home turn.  Villanova and Starlight Blaze collided on the home turn checking Starlight Blaze which stumbled and lost ground.  Write About Her and Hot Sauce Sally raced wide in the home straight.

Aston Percival and Sophia Grove were slow to begin.  Sophia Grove pulled up approaching the first turn.  Klimenko, Miss Angel Di and Avery Charm collided on the first turn checking Miss Angel Di and Avery Charm.  Red Nangana and Avery Charm collided on the first turn.

Sophia Grove underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right triangle muscle.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr. J. Bowman regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the first turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Sophia Grove was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment  (by reason of injury).  Mr. Bowman pleaded guilty to the charge, Sophia Grove was found guilty and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nominations will be accepted.

Zipping Malibu was quick to begin.  Hazardous Rumour was checked off Twelfth Of Never approaching the first turn checking Hazardous Rumour.  Twelfth Of Never and Deedee’s Charm collided on the first turn. Twelfth Of Never galloped on Autumn Haze on the first turn severely checking Twelfth Of Never.  Zipping Malibu and Dr. Knuckles collided entering the home straight causing Zipping Malibu to cross out.
