Daph's Desi was quick to begin. Blue Raspberry was slow to begin.
Lonesome Star and Aeroplane Cougar collided approaching the first turn checking Aeroplane Cougar. Aeroplane Cougar and Pacific express collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Pacific Express checked off Aeroplane Cougar on the first turn. Patons Road checked off Daph's Desi on the first turn. Blue Raspberry and Makayla's Diva raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.
