Broken Boots was quick to begin.  Solar Energy and Gold Luminesce were slow to begin.  

Junior and Lilly Patch collided approaching the first turn.  Draconic Lad and Solar Energy collided on the first turn.  Junior checked off Broken Boots on the first turn.  Gold Luminesce raced wide on the first turn.  Draconic Lad and Solar Energy collided on the home turn.  Draconic Lad and Need To Shine collided entering the home straight.

Canya Hurricane faltered soon after the start and tailed off as a result.  Springvale Misty and Battered Sav collided approaching the first turn checking Springvale Misty.  Sarah Smirnoff and Battered Sav collided on the home turn.  Sarah Smirnoff, Sports Gairn and Battered Sav collided approaching the winning post.

Canya Hurricane underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Aston Remi, Dance Diva Dance and Blow Me Kisses collided approaching the first turn checking Miss Marley, Aston Remi fell as a result.  Pete Cabang and Send It Socks collided on the home turn.  Pete Cabang, Send It Socks and Blow Me Kisses collided entering the home straight.  Dance Diva Dance raced wide in the home straight.  

Aston Remi underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a cervico-thoracic injury, an abrasion to the left foreleg and a spike wound to the right foreleg.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Bakali George was quick to begin.  Rival Wiggy was slow to begin.

Paul's Happy checked off Aunt Finnie soon after the start.  Paul's Happy visible eased soon after the start.  Aunt Finnie and Fairytale Poppy collided approaching the first turn.  Parasite and Paul's Happy raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.  Rival Wiggy and My Annabelle collided in the home straight.

Paul's Happy underwent a post-race veterinary examination was re-examined following race number 11, no apparent injury could be detected. Stewards spoke to Mr. Paul Pace, the trainer regarding the greyhound’s racing manners soon after the start.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Paul's Happy was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. Pace pleaded guilty to the charge, Paul's Happy was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Ruby Arizona and Windburn were quick to begin.  Fairytale Swank and Magical Max were slow to begin.

Pyreness Pegasus and Windburn collided soon after the start.  Fairytale Swank, Pyreness Pegasus, Windburn and Bright Blue collided approaching the first turn checking Bright Blue, Windburn fell as a result.  Cash No Credit, Follow The Que and Pyrenees Pegasus collided on the first turn. 

Windburn underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right carpal sprain.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Roxy Usuki was slow to begin.

Pat's Me Mum and Defiance collided soon after the start.  Rocky Strike and Limburg Special collided approaching the first turn.  Rocky Strike checked off Limburg Special on the home turn checking Roxy Usuki.  Pat's Me Mum crossed to the outside in the home straight checking Limburg Special. 

Aston Roxy – Stewards were satisfied with the boxing of the greyhound and removed the boxed first endorsement for future events in accordance with GAR 52.
