Send It Socks was quick to begin.
Aston Remi, Dance Diva Dance and Blow Me Kisses collided approaching the first turn checking Miss Marley, Aston Remi fell as a result. Pete Cabang and Send It Socks collided on the home turn. Pete Cabang, Send It Socks and Blow Me Kisses collided entering the home straight. Dance Diva Dance raced wide in the home straight.
Aston Remi underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a cervico-thoracic injury, an abrasion to the left foreleg and a spike wound to the right foreleg. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
