All persons attending the venue today carried face-masks, observed social distance requirements and maintained room density quotients for the race meeting.

The closing time of kennelling was altered in accordance with GAR 31, due to the late arrival of several trainers who experienced significant traffic delays en-route to the track. The kennels closed at 7.15pm. 

Frangipani Bay was slow to begin.

Jupiter King checked off Nitro Nikki soon after the start.  Money On Black, Dark Soul, Blue Cherry Miss and Alira Gem collided soon after start checking Alira Gem.  Dark Soul checked off Blue Cherry Miss on the first turn.  Blue Cherry Miss and Jupiter King collided on the first turn checking Blue Cherry Miss.  Blue Cherry Miss and Frangipani Bay collided approaching the home turn.  Dark Soul and Blue Cherry Miss collided on the home turn.

A post-race sample was taken from Nitro Nikki - winner of the event.  

Jye's Jet was slow to begin.

Venus Light and Blinken Lily collided repeatedly approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Smoke Bush Drive checked off Jye's Jet on the first turn.  Abernathy and Jye's Jet collided approaching the home turn.  Venus Light and Smoke Bush Drive collided in the home straight.  Fatboy Leeroy turned its head outwards and eased in the home straight colliding with Lyrical Lad.

Fatboy Leeroy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left tarsal sprain. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr. Ian Cockerell regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Fatboy Leeroy was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Cockerell pleaded guilty to the charge, Fatboy Leeroy was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

A post-race sample was taken from Lyrical Lad - winner of the event.   

A sample was taken from Invictus Ethan at the trainer’s kennel earlier today.

Invictus Ethan and Madame Josie were quick to begin.

Pass It On, Zipping Chester and Zipping Chandler collided soon after the start.  Exit Sign checked off Zipping Chester on the first turn.  Zipping Chester checked off Zipping Chandler on the home turn.

A sample was taken from High Action at the trainer’s kennel earlier today.

Ernie Prang and Agent Rocket collided soon after the start.  Keep It Black and High Action collided soon after the start.  Agent Rocket faltered, lost ground and tailed off approaching the first turn. 

Agent Rocket underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed. 

Samples were taken from Blind Electra and Nino's Girl at the trainers’ kennels earlier today.

Mepunga Val and Oreo Lady collided soon after the start.  Nino's Girl checked off Mepunga Val on the first turn.  Graceful Light and Deedee's Charm collided on the home turn.

Stewards withdrew Free Sebon at 7.15pm (non-arrival) after Trainer, Mr. P. Schofield, contacted Stewards to advise of traffic delays en route to the track.  Stewards will lift the current penalty applied on Free Sebon following Mr. Schofield's attempt to arrive on course by the appointed time.

Lil Snooze, Habib, Oliver Bale and Hear The Drum collided on the first turn checking Habib and Oliver Bale.  Oliver Bale and Cute Indeed collided on the home turn. 

Samples were taken from Bluey McGee and Fly Havoc at the trainers' kennels earlier today.

A pre-race sample was taken from Big Bash Jess.

Fly Havoc and Ricky Racoon collided soon after the start.  Mariah Queen and Ricky Racoon collided on the first turn checking Ricky Racoon.  Insomnia Agago checked off Big Bash Jess on the first turn checking Bluey McGee.  Fly Havoc and Ricky Racoon collided on the home turn.  Mariah Queen and Fly Havoc collided approaching the winning post. 

It was noted that the muzzle of Big Bash Jess became dislodged during the running of the event.

Dynamite Des checked off Blue Zenia approaching the first turn and collided with Leroy Deploy.  Mobile Doll May galloped on Leroy Deploy on the first turn, checking Mobile Doll May.  Dynamite Des and Leroy Deploy collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.

Astro Boy and Aston Skylar were quick to begin.

Nitro Antworn stumbled at the start.  Frothy's De Goey crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Orange Justice.
