Steward's Report
All persons attending the venue today carried face masks, observed social distance requirements and maintained room density quotients for the race meeting.
Mr P Bouchier, trainer of Folk Slayer advised Stewards that Tali Tails, which is trained by his wife, was withdrawn due to illness.
There was no head-on vision available for this race.
Ice Ghost, Attitude, Night Like This and Folk Slayer collided soon after the start. Attitude and Night Like This collided approaching the first turn. Attitude checked off Folk Slayer on the first turn, checking Ice Ghost. Ice Ghost and Night Like This collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight; checking both greyhounds.
Folk Slayer underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have spike wounds to the left foreleg. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
