Dundee Ember and Crowdza Smiling were slow to begin.
Just A Minute and Crowdza Smiling collided soon after the start. Dundee Ember, Just A Minute and Crowdza Smiling collided at the 300m mark. Sweet Sorrow and Pocket Titanium collided approaching the 250m mark. Sweet Sorrow crossed to the outside at the 250m mark checking Pocket Titanium and Hear Me Out and raced wide as a result. Just A Minute and Pocket Titanium collided approaching the 150m mark.
