Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Arcanine.
Grace Cabang, Adesanya and Arcanine collided soon after the start. Grace Cabang, Long Black Lass and Ethan's Fury collided approaching the first turn. Grace Cabang and Ethan’s Fury collided on the first turn, causing both to race wide. Adesanya and Diama Miss collided entering the home straight.
Grace Cabang underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to representative Mr. Rodney Lund regarding the racing manners of Grace Cabang on the first turn. After hearing evidence from Mr. Lund, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners.
