Ezra Bale - Late scratching at 17:11 on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a papilloma on the left hind foot. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Shy But Savage was slow to begin. Why Not Luv and Chelsea's Love collided on the first turn. Chelsea's Love checked off Why Not Luv in the back straight. Jarick Bale and Mr. Neo collided on the home turn. Harper's Girl and Shy But Savage collided in the home straight.
Shy But Savage underwent a post-race veterinary examination. No apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Matthew Tabb regarding the racing manners of Shy But Savage in the home straight. After hearing evidence from Mr. Tabb, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.
