Steward's Report
Who Is Arandt and Tiger's Twenty were slow to begin. Nihari Bale and Crackerjack Zave collided soon after the start. Rockstar Rebel and Chillin collided soon after the start checking Rockstar Rebel. Who Is Arandt and Tiger's Twenty collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Who Is Arandt contacted the running rail on the first turn checking Who Is Arandt and Tiger's Twenty. Fast Lane raced wide and turned its head outwards rounding the first turn and entering the back colliding with Crackerjack Zave on a number of occassions checking both greyhounds. Tiger's Twenty and Chillin collided on the third turn checking Chillin. Nihari Bale and Fire And Fury collided in the home straight checkign Fire And Fury.
Who Is Arandt was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained
Fast Lane was vetted following the event and was found to have no apparent injury. Trainer Mr P. Presutto declined the option to have the greyhound revetted. Stewards spoke to Mr Presutto regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn to entering the back straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1), Fast Lane was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Presutto pleaded guilty to the charge, Fast Lane was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted
