Hansen regarding the racing manners of Chanko Girl in the home straight.  After hearing evidence from Mr. Hansen, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.

Mr. Bar Wicked underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

Aston Paquin underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-vetted following race 11. Aston Paquin was found to have a spike wound around the left eye, an injury to the right pencil muscle and bruising to the left forearm and tibia. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Craig Webb, regarding the greyhounds racing manners soon after the start.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Aston Paquin was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Webb pleaded guilty to the charge, Aston Paquin was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
