Steward's Report
Sneaky Kiss was slow to begin.
Sneaky Kiss and Shaw's Smother collided approaching the first turn. Go Lexi Go, Sneaky Kiss and Shaw's Smother collided on the first turn; checking Sneaky Kiss, Shaw's Smother and Sugar Boloney. Shaw's Smother lost ground approaching the home turn and trailled the field for the remainder of the event.
Shaw's Smother underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr M Johnson, the trainer of Shaw's Smother who declined a re-vet of the greyhound, regarding its performance in this event. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Shaw's Smother must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race sample was taken from Son Of Suri - the winner of the event.
