The traditional 2-wave (odds then evens) boxing process has been re-instated for all races in Victoria from Tuesday 10 November 2020. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times. 

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Tinker Dazz, Aston Dynasty and Seen Better collided soon after the start. Aston Dynasty and Zipping Aubry collided soon after the start. Zipping Aubry checked off Morticia on the first turn. Aston Rocket underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a thoraco-lumbar injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Nicole Cachia regarding the racing manners of Aston Rocket in home straight. After hearing evidence from Nicole Cachia, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners.

Aston Dynasty underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported

Madam Malkin was quick to begin. Joffa's Princess was slow to begin.

Neo Bale and Shinjuku collided soon after the start causing Shinjuku to fall. Two Face and Okay Sam collided soon after the start. Blackpool Marvel checked off Two Face on the first turn. Blackpool Marvel checked off Miss City Girl approaching the home turn. Dashing Dante and Okay Sam collided on the home turn. Blackpool Marvel, Dashing Dante and Okay Sam collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post causing Okay Sam and Dashing Dante to stumble.

Shinjuku underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg quadriceps injury . A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Blackpool Alfie – Late scratching at 6:12pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a left wrist laceration. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Zipping Rambo – In accordance with GAR 73, presented for a re-vet at the conclusion of kennelling as the greyhound was found to be injured at Sandown on 3/12/2020.  Zipping Rambo was examined by the on-track veterinarian and found to be not free from injury.  Zipping Rambo was Not Cleared to race.
