Steward's Report
The traditional 2-wave (odds then evens) boxing process has been re-instated for all races in Victoria from Tuesday 10 November 2020. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.
All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Strike Out was slow to begin.
Rona Express and Tinker Mighty collided soon after the start. Tinker Mighty checked off Powder Burn approaching the first turn. Udeyan Bale and Tinker Mighty collided on the first turn, checking Razor Red and Malicious Yaala, severely checking Tinker Mighty, which contacted the running rail and severely checking Rona Express and Strike Out, which stumbled and tailed off. Powder Burn checked off Angus Rhode on the first turn. Udeyan Bale and Powder Burn collided approaching the home turn. Tinker Mighty faltered on the home turn and shifted out, severely checking Rona Express. Udeyan Bale and Powder Burn collided on the home turn.
Tinker Mighty underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a monkey muscle injury, right foreleg. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Strike Out underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a toe injury, right foreleg. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Angus Rhode - the winner of the event.
