Steward's Report
Prime Time – Late scratching at 5.40pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a left foreleg lost/torn nail . A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Ha Ha MacGyver, Lakeview Cruiser and Maxwell collided approaching the first turn. Louie Lou checked off Lakeview Cruiser approaching the first turn; Louie Lou contacted the running rail and lost ground as a result. Too Be Sure galloped on Louie Lou on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Maxwell checked off Jet Lee Rose on the first turn checking Lakeview Cruiser. Ha Ha MacGyver checked off Jet Lee Rose approaching the home turn. Lakeview Cruiser and Maxwell collided approaching the home turn.
Louie Lou underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left front wrist. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Hoffa - the winner of the event.
