Aston Rocket and Slick Paws were quick to begin.  Reiko Bolt was slow to begin.  Neo Bale, Hook Along Book and West Of Westeros collided approaching the first turn checking Hook Along Book.  Slick Paws and Stay At Home collided on the first turn checking Slick Paws.  Sunshine Spolly and Reiko Bolt collided on the first turn checking Sunshine Spolly and Hook Along Book.  Stay At Home and Reiko Bolt collided approaching the home turn checking Reiko Bolt.  Aston Rocket and West Of Westeros collided several times on the home turn and entering the home straight checking both greyhounds and causing Aston Rocket to lose ground.

Aston Rocket underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Healey (representative) regarding the greyhound's racing manners. After hearing evidence from Mr. Healey, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn.

Prime Time – Late scratching at 5.40pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a left foreleg lost/torn nail .  A 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Ha Ha MacGyver, Lakeview Cruiser and Maxwell collided approaching the first turn.  Louie Lou checked off Lakeview Cruiser approaching the first turn; Louie Lou contacted the running rail and lost ground as a result.  Too Be Sure galloped on Louie Lou on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Maxwell checked off Jet Lee Rose on the first turn checking Lakeview Cruiser.  Ha Ha MacGyver checked off Jet Lee Rose approaching the home turn.  Lakeview Cruiser and Maxwell collided approaching the home turn.

Louie Lou underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left front wrist.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Ballymac Vicar underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abraded paw pad/split webbing to the right hind leg and right foreleg.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Daniel Avocado and Midnight Monarch were slow to begin.  Bring Your Banjo checked off Perfect Colour approaching the first turn.  Zambora Smokey crossed in approaching the first turn severely checking Bring Your Banjo and Perfect Colour, checking Zipping Fleur, Daniel Avocado and Midnight Monarch.  Perfect Colour contacted the running rail and lost ground.  Bring Your Banjo stumbled and lost ground.

Bring Your Banjo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left front sesamoid injury and a spike wound to the left wrist.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Perfect Colour underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have bruising/contusion to the left thigh.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
