Sisco Bella was quick to begin. Silken was slow to begin.
Graphic Print and Noonbarra Jack collided soon after the start. Silken and Come On Eleanor collided approaching the first turn. Graphic Print, Noonbarra Jack and Bad Boy Barry collided approaching the first turn. Silken and Sisco Bella collided on the first turn, checking Sisco Bella: causing Sisco Bella, Graphic Print, Noonbarra Jack and Bad Boy Barry to collide: checking Sisco Bella, Noonbarra Jack and Bad Boy Barry, severely checking Graphic Print which fell as a result and collided with Come On Eleanor who lost ground as a result. Bad Boy Barry and Ledgerwood Libby collided approaching the home turn.
