Steward's Report
Rilynn Bale was quick to begin. Major Giblet and Accused were slow to begin. LaLa Phoenix and Zipping Zarbo collided soon after the start. Ulricken Bale and LaLa Phoenix collided on the first turn checking LaLa Phoenix, Zipping Zarbo, Better Watch Out, Wallbanger and Major Giblet. Ulricken Bale contacted the running rail approaching the second turn checking Zipping Zarbo and Better Watch Out causing Ulricken Bale to lose ground as a result. LaLa Phoenix galloped on Ulricken Bale entering the back straight. Ulricken Bale and LaLa Phoenix collided approaching the winning post.
Ulricken Bale appeared disappointing and was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Stewards spoke to Rebecca Gibbons, the Kennel representitive of Ulricken Bale regarding the performance. After hearing & considering several submissions from Ms Gibbons, the Stewards directed that in accordance with GAR 75 (1), Ms Gibbons shall report to Stewards as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Ulricken in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
A sample was taken from Better Watch Out, the winner of the event.
Supplementary Report: Kennel Representitive Ms Rebecca Gibbons advised on Monday 9 November that Ulricken Bale has pulled up with grazes & bruising to the right hamstring.
