Steward's Report
A sample was taken from Lots Of Chatter upon arrival at the course.
Weblec Blade, Carry On Maxwell and Aston Toto collided soon after the start. My Girl Kizzy and Aston Ulysses collided approaching the first turn checking My Girl Kizzy. Weblec Blade, Carry On Maxwell and Aston Toto collided approaching the first turn checking Carry On Maxwell. Carry On Maxwell, My Girl Kizzy and Aston Toto collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Father Phevos and Weblec Blade collided on the first turn and again approaching the second turn checking Weblec Blade. Carry On Maxwell and and My Girl Kizzy collided on the second turn checking Carry On Maxwell. Aston Toto shifted out, raced ungenerously and collided several times with My Girl Kizzy and Carry On Maxwell on the third turn.
Aston Toto was vetted following the event and was revetted following Race 5. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left wrist, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr G. Jose, Trainer of Aston Toto and Ms T. Sincock, Kennel Representitive, regarding the greyhound's performance in this event. After hearing submissions, the Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory. Acting in accordance with GAR 71, Aston Toto must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted
