Stylish Shazz was slow to begin. Quara Bale crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Dyna Deeksey amd Nelly Allen. Nelly Allen checked off Stylish Shazz approaching the first turn. Dyna Deeksey checked off Stylish Shazz on the first turn. Lachlan Bomber galloped on the heels of Texan on the first turn checking Texan and Lachlan Bomber and severely checking Nelly Allen and Stylish Shazz. Lachlan Bomber and Dyna Deeksey raced wide on the home turn.
Nelly Allen was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained left back muscle soreness. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.
