Jenkins Bale was slow to begin. Ever Alert and Prince Baling collided soon after the start. Monstrosity, Penn Bale and Tail's Earner collided approaching the first turn checking Monstrosity and Penn Bale.

Monstrosity was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness in the left shoulder and the right triangle. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

Prince Baling was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
