Where's Asha and Smoking Rosie collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Flash Magpie checked off Lost My Jockey approaching the home turn. Lost My Jockey checked off Jenkins Bale approaching the home turn. Thunderous Cheer checked off Where's Asha approaching the home turn, checking Smoking Rosie. Meeting Comments:
Stewards altered the closing time of kennelling due to the late arrival of several trainers, Mr Allan Meyer, Mr Michael Fox, Mr Peter Simone and Mr Gary Peach. They all explained that there were several traffic incidents on the freeway. Stewards noted their explanation and reminded them of their responsibilities in relation to GRV Rule 49 (Presentation for Racing).
