Kallara Tipene, Mar Millions, Our Spirit, Breakwater Boy and Shifty Fifty collided soon after the start checking all three greyhounds. Breakwater Boy and Shifty Fifty collided approaching the first turn. Big Bad Rough checked off Our Selection approaching the home turn. Shifty Fifty checked off big Bad Rough approaching the home turn. Big Bad Rough and Shifty Fifty collided on the home turn checking Big Bad Rough. Our Selection and Mary's Guess colllided in the home straight.
Big Bad Rough was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left shoulder. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
