Banjo Bliss - Late scratching at 1.46pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Captain Abbott was fined $100.
Emergency turned in the boxes and was very slow to begin. Mick's Kimmy was slow to begin.
Nitro Yap, Only Sometimes and Mepunga Sparkle collided approaching the first turn checking Only Sometimes. Serene Rose checked off Only Sometimes on the first turn checking Mick's Kimmy. Serene Rose and Always Innocent collided approaching the home turn.
Emergency underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Emergency - Turned in the boxes and took no competitive part in the race. Placed on a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 52(1).
