Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations

Glorious One, Rapid Bay and Taipan Jill collided approaching the first turn checking Glorious One and Rapid Bay. Wolfsbane Potion galloped on the heels of Big Bash Maddy on the home turn severely checking Big Bash Maddy. Taipan Jill and Grand Kylie collided in the home straight.

Big Bash Maddy underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Inga April, Lily Leopard, Saint Sunshine, Angelique Bay and Tracie Bay collided soon after the start checking Saint Sunshine. Tracie Bay and Maybe Sienna raced wide in the home straight.

Supercross and I'm A Burner were slow to begin.

Agent Stella, Big Leigh and Big Bash Army collided soon after the start. Pick My Pocket, Big Bash Army and I'm A Burner collided approaching the first turn checking Big Leigh and Pick My Pocket. Supercross galloped on the heels of Blue Bonnet on the first turn checking Supercross and severely checking Blue Bonnet. Big Leigh checked off Agent Stella in the home straight.

Lovely Sienna– New declared weight of 26.9kg, last raced at 28.0kg.. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Come On Serenity.

Raw Zeal was slow to begin.

Grand Giveaway and Come On Serenity collided soon after the start. Lewis Osti and Blue Magic Opal collided on the first turn checking Lewis Osti. Grand Giveaway checked off Maybe Gracie approaching the home turn checking Lewis Osti. Raw Zeal which trailled the field throughout  was vetted following the event.

Raw Zeal underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to right toe and a left monkey muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Banjo Bliss - Late scratching at 1.46pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Captain Abbott was fined $100.

Emergency turned in the boxes and was very slow to begin. Mick's Kimmy was slow to begin. 

Nitro Yap, Only Sometimes and Mepunga Sparkle collided approaching the first turn checking Only Sometimes. Serene Rose checked off Only Sometimes on the first turn checking Mick's Kimmy. Serene Rose and Always Innocent collided approaching the home turn.

Emergency underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Emergency - Turned in the boxes and took no competitive part in the race. Placed on a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 52(1).

Dreamliner and Last Outlaw were slow to begin.

Master Winslow, Perfect Chase, Mabel's Fire and Push Start collided on the first turn checking Push Start and Master Winslow and severely checking Mabel's Fire which fell as a result.

Mabel's Fire underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury and a right cervico - thoracic injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed

Speedy Spyro was quick to begin.

Chill Winston and Magic Panther collided soon after the start. Chill Winston and Magic Panther collided on the first turn. Magic Panther checked off Cherokee Cash approaching the home turn. Chill Winston and Magic Panther collided in the home straight.

Double Truffle - Late scratching at  2.02pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr P.Inguanti was fined $100.

Zipping Solo went up with the lids at box-rise and collided with Lots Of Nitro, checking both greyhounds. Elope To Paris and Flying Yuna collided on the first turn checking Flying Yuna and Lots Of Nitro. Elope To Paris checked off Queue The Music on the home turn. Flying Yuna checked off Kara The Escapee in the home straight.

Peter Thief – New declared weight of 32.0kg last raced at 30.2kg.

Mauritian Rascal – New declared weight of 32.0kg, last raced at 30.5kg. 

Kid Winslow was slow to begin.

Spring Kissed and Dial Triple One collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Kid Winslow and Glascoe Sally collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Mauritian Rascal lost ground approaching the home turn. Spring Kissed crossed to the outside in the home straight.

Mauritian Rascal underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg wrist injury and a left monkey muscle injury and a left back muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed
