Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Have A Roadie.
Love A Talk, Lightning Ben and Zipping Radar were slow to begin.
Have A Roadie, Mr. Mufasa and Aston Gates collided approaching the first turn checking Mr. Mufasa and Aston Gates. Lightning Ben faltered on the first turn and lost ground. Who Cry Now, Love A Talk, Rockstar Brass, Zipping Radar and Have A Roadie raced wide in the home straight. Who Cry Now and Zipping Radar collided approaching the winning post.
Lightning Ben underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Ms J. Torr regarding the racing manners of Who Cry Now in the home straight. After hearing evidence from Ms Torr, viewing the available race footage (head on and side on) and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners.
