Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Chatterbox Tilly.
Fabriola Yes was slow to begin.
Tiggerlong Bundy, Fabriola Yes and Aratuza Bale collided soon after the start, checking Aratuza Bale. Perfect Glory and Aston Holdings collided soon after the start. Call Me Tiger and Chatterbox Tilly collided on the first turn. Perfect Glory crossed to the rails on the first turn checking Chatterbox Tilly, Call Me Tiger, Tiggerlong Bundy and Blaviken Bale, causing Call Me Tiger to fall. Blaviken Bale, Tiggerlong Bundy and Aston Holdings collided on the home turn. Blaviken Bale veered in and marred Chatterbox Tilly several times in the home straight.
Call Me Tiger underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left chest muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Blaviken Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg torn nail. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Representative Mr G. Dailly regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Blaviken Bale was charged with marring. Mr Dailly pleaded guilty to the charge, Blaviken Bale was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
