Steward's Report
Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.
All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face masks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Track curator Mr J. Ryan advised the track was medium harrowed following the race meeting on Sunday 26th of September.
Rob's Outlander – New declared weight of 33.4kg, last raced at 31.7kg.
Apple Valley was slow to begin.
How's It Alice and Black Booker collided soon after the start checking Black Booker. Rob's Outlander and Maxi Mal collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Exit Sign turned in his head in approaching the 250m mark and again at the 200m mark. Maxi Mal checked off How's It Alice approaching the winning post checking Devika Bale.
Exit Sign underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Trainer, Mr N. Hunt declined to have the greyhound re-vetted.
Stewards spoke to Mr N. Hunt, the trainer of Exit Sign regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the 250m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Exit Sign was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Hunt pleaded guilty to the charge, Exit Sign is suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
